1953-1962 C1 Corvette Small Gauge Restoration

• $100.00 Base Labor per gauge pair (Battery+Oil or Fuel+Temp). All parts and repainting extra; see below.
  • Includes cleaning, case restoration, testing, and expert reassembly and calibration with exacting detail.
  • We try to reuse as many original parts as possible, replacing them only when necessary.
  • +$10.00-$50.00 each Labor for additional repairs or calibration, if needed.
  • +$24.00 each Paint backplate behind inner face (applies to 53-58).
  • +$24.00 Set of 4 new reproduction lenses.
  • +$38.00 each New reproduction chrome bezel
  • You may have gauges that needs repair and not a restoration. The car may be a survivor, unrestored, etc. We certainly understand and will accommodate the owner in most cases, but 53-62 case-mounted gauges are often the exception. Many have cases and inner plates with flaking paint that will be visible inside the lens after reassembly. In these situations, we will media blast the old paint and repaint them with correct colors. We do not want unhappy customers with paint flecks in their gauges!
• Typical completed cost: $175.00-$300.00 per gauge pair.
• We also repair individual gauges. However your gauges must remain installed in their cases when sending them.

Quick tip! Be extremely careful when removing the nuts that hold the wiring harness terminals in place. Do not allow the studs to rotate!!

This is a 1953-1958 style gauge that needs the backplate and pointer repainted. There is a clear face with the graphics that installs over the backplate. Pointer closeup shows cracking paint.
