When you look online for “Corvette restoration parts,” does it seem like nothing you find is ever really that good? Have you felt that so many parts which are billed as “restoration parts” look like they have yet to actually be, well, restored? When getting restoration parts (or really, any parts for your Corvette) you want to ensure that they’re of the highest quality. After all, it’s something that’s going to be installed in your Corvette. “Good enough” is not the standard, “perfect” is. At CS of MD West, we offer many different kinds of restoration parts for your Corvette.
64 Year Old Corvette Wiper Motor
We’re proud of all of our restoration work, but, there’s something a little bit extra special about doing so on some of the oldest Corvette parts. The restored windshield wiper motor that we’re currently offering is correct for all but the very earliest 1956 Corvettes. We know how difficult it can be to find parts for a C1 Corvette. If you go to our site, you’ll find that we have a little write up about a 1956 wiper motor, but really, if you need a wiper motor for another year, we’d love to sit down and talk to you about availability and pricing. A windshield wiper motor may not seem like a big thing, but it can make all the difference.
Speedometer Restoration
When a speedometer goes bad, it can go bad in any number of ways. It could just flat out stop working. In some cases, the needle jumps too and fro, to the point where you really can’t trust what the speedometer tells you. The pointer could break, or suddenly the speedometer could start making squeals or other distressing noises. For all of those problems and more, we can restore and recalibrate your speedometer so that you can trust it.
Reproduction Parts
Has the speedometer or tachometer needle on your 1963-1964 Corvette broken down or even snapped? Traditionally, these have been some of the most difficult quality parts to obtain, for many reasons. However, now we offer reproductions that can meet the highest standards. Previous incarnations of reproductions looked great, but were improperly balanced. So, while they appeared to be fantastic, really, they made it essentially impossible to get the right calibration. That’s why we offer these reproduction parts. Bear in mind, however, that just because you’ve replaced the broken pointer, that does not mean you’ve fixed whatever it was that broke the pointer in the first place. If you need your unit rebuilt, we’ve got you covered for that, too.
Restoration, Rebuilding, and Repair
While we offer plenty of restoration parts, in many cases, we can repair and rebuild parts, too. For example, we’re true experts of restoring, rebuilding, and repairing speedometers and tachometers. If there’s a part you need for your Corvette, or if there’s a part you need improved for your Corvette, we can help. Just message us or call (800) 638-6450.
