1953-1977 Speedometer & 1953-1974 Tachometer Frame Gasket
This rubber gasket was used between the gauge frame and the backplate in 1953-1977 Corvette Speedometers and in 1953-1974 Corvette Tachometers. They prevent vibration and transmission from the unit. These gaskets often become dry and brittle. We recommend replacing them whenever your service or exchange your gauges. Original GM part# 6405555.
Also fits most other GM applications from the same time periods. Check your manual for specifics.
