1958 Corvette Speedometer – Restored Original
Restored original Speedometer correct for 1958 Corvettes only (see below). We have completely restored the unit inside and out with a mint original inner face, new outer lens, and our new reproduction chrome bezel. Accurately calibrated and ready to install. Original GM part #1585438.
The 1958 speedometer is unique to that year with some parts that were used only in 1958. This speedometer is a mix between the earlier 53-57 style and the later 59-62 style. The dot graphics behind the outer lens are actually painted on a clear inner plastic face in the same style as all other 1953-1958 gauges and is not reproduced (1959-1962 speedometers had line graphics printed directly on the painted black metal backplate).
