Description
1964-1971 Transistor Ignition Electronic Module
New Transistor Ignition Electronic Module for 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, & 1971 Corvettes.
From the manufacturer:
In 1964, GM introduced their ultimate performance ignition system, transistor ignition or “magpulse”. However, there were a few problems that 1960’s technology couldn’t address. Using today’s technology, one of GM’s former top electronics experts completely redesigned the amplifier circuit board to bring the system up to its full design potential.
New Features Silicon transistors work up to 300 degrees F and gives easy hot and cold starts. It compensates for a “weak magnet” and gives you Full Stark at low crank RPM’s.
Maximum volts to 25,000+
New design equals long life, smoother operation, and better performance.
In addition, our new switch current gives the fastest coil “rise time” which means smoother operation through all rpm ranges and no misfires! Performance up to 9000 rpm! Now your 64-71 GM TI system will be equal to the best race systems on the market! Our new board mounts in the stock heat sink and connects using the factory wiring harness-it’s plug and play!
