1967 Corvette Tachometer Pointer for Optional U15 Speed Warning Indicator – NOS AC/GM 6458869
This is a tachometer pointer/needle for 1967 Corvettes equipped with the U15 Speed Warning Indicator option (see below). It is a genuine GM new old stock part still in the original AC/GM box. It is in excellent condition with no signs of damage or paint chipping. Please note: This is not the pointer for the speedometer with the connector that activates the speed warning buzzer. This is the tachometer pointer that was made to visually match the special speedometer pointer. Original GM part number 6458869.
The U15 Speed Warning Option was available in 1967 Corvettes as an add-on to the speedometer that would emit a buzz when the car reached the selected speed. The tachometer pointer used in these cars was different from other 65-67 pointers as it needed to match the design of the special speedometer pointer.
