NOS 1963-1967 Ignition Shield Rear Ground Clip
GM Part#3838050. Rare and hard to find, this clip was used in the top ignition shield on 327 equipped 1963-1967 Corvette. Note the manufacturer logo “AWT” . There were 2 slots in the rear of all 1963 late through 1967 small block top ignition shields. This clip was for carbureted engines, stamped “carb” and to be installed in the slot marked “carb”. Look at your assembly manual U69 section. This was installed to suppress interference and touches the tach cable.
