A Higher Caliber of Used Corvette Parts for Sale and So Much More

used corvette parts for sale

Are you looking for used Corvette parts for sale that haven’t received that much usage? Does it seem as if the used classic Corvette parts you find online don’t seem like they have much viability left? It’s important to remember that, back in the day, these classic Corvettes were seen, for many, as drivers. They were cars to be driven to and from work, the store, and all of the other tasks that make up day to day life. As such, these parts may have gone through some real wear and tear.

That’s just one of the reasons why, here at CS of MD West, we offer a better version of not just used parts but alternatives to used parts as well.

Used Corvette Parts for Sale in Excellent Condition

We don’t offer many used parts. However, when we do, we’re always as upfront as possible about their use. Beyond that, we also make sure that they meet all of our highest, most stringent quality standards. A good example of this is the 1968 Corvette Used L/H Convertible Pin Striker on Windshield 39158.

As you may know, these were used in early production in 1968 before being discontinued by GM in August of 1968. So, that makes this part as rare as can be, since it was basically used in only early 1968. Indeed, in our experience, it’s difficult to find these parts in any condition, much less a viable condition.

The one that we have, however, is absolutely ready to go. Now, with a part like this, as it is so specific and so rare, we do recommend that, before you purchase it, you check your manual for specifics. That way, you can make certain that you’re getting the exact right, specific part for your needs. Of course, we’re happy to answer any questions you might have, too.

“Minor Shelf Wear (Visible in Photos)”

Again, whenever possible, we’ll do whatever is necessary to let you know everything there is to know before you purchase a part from us. To wit, our 1968-1972 Corvette NOS Front License Mount Bracket has “minor shelf wear.” We don’t hide that from anyone. Indeed, we make it clear in our description.

Beyond that, however, we make it visible in photos, too. That way, you can see exactly what wear there is on the part before you make any decision. We know how challenging it can be to find the right classic parts for your Corvette. So, we also know that the very last things you ever want to deal with are nasty surprises. That does not nor will it ever happen here.

Now, beyond the minor shelf wear that you can see in the photos, this is a genuine GM NOS part. It has never been installed, not once in the last 50+ years. This is so NOS, in fact, it even has the GM pick sticker attached. This is a genuine part in genuinely excellent condition that would make a great addition to a 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 Corvette.

Reproduction Parts

Some of the classic parts are difficult to find in any condition, let alone a quality one. We don’t see that as a challenge, rather, we see it as an opportunity. Specifically, it’s an opportunity for us to offer correct reproduction parts that are as much like the original parts as possible (except with a long time of quality usage ahead of them).

A good example of this is the 1964-1968 Corvette Transistor Ignition Amplifier we’re currently offering. This correct reproduction part is exactly that: correct. Utilizing an updated module, it correctly replaces the technology that was used in the 1960’s. As you might imagine, this new technology provides much, much better performance.

When it comes to reproduction parts, you have to make sure that you’re getting a reproduction from a trusted name, someone who really knows what they’re doing. That’s exactly what these parts are. Made by a licensed GM supplier, this is a licensed GM Restoration part. This exact part may not have been around in the sixties, but you’ll find that it fits 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, and 1968 Corvettes.

A Home for More Than Used Corvette Parts for Sale

One of the many problems with used Corvette parts for sale is that, frankly, they aren’t getting any newer. Sure, some can be restored, but for the most part, they aren’t going to improve. That’s just one of the reasons that we have so many NOS and reproduction parts available.

What we mentioned here is just a small fraction of the parts that we offer. Indeed, some of the parts mentioned in his blog were recently found in our warehouse. There’s so much more. To see how we can help your Corvette, click on our site or call.
