Does it seem like the market for C1 Corvette parts and accessories has dried up? Has it become seemingly that much more challenging to find parts you would actually want to install in your C1 Corvette every single year? The C1, the classic Corvette upon which all other Corvettes are based and all other Corvettes are judged, is the very definition of a classic. The first classic Corvettes, these vehicles are the true definition of immortal. That said, they were made some time ago, and so too were their parts. We can help.
Here at Corvette Specialties of MD West, we have many different kinds of parts for C1 Corvettes. Some of these might be exactly what you’re looking for; some of them might not be. If the latter is the case, we are still in a position where we may be able to assist. We also offer restoration services, too, and we’re always getting new parts in. What we’re saying is: we have a proven track record of doing what’s necessary to help classic Corvette owners to improve their Corvettes.
Reproduction Radiator Caps to Cap Off a Great Corvette Restoration
When you look at your C1 Corvette, do you notice the little details? Are you the kind of classic Corvette owner that can see everything about your Corvette (as well as everything that can be improved?) If so, then you’re our kind of Corvette owner. Indeed, we’ve got several parts that some may see as “small,” but other classic Corvette owners will see as “essential.” Case in point: our 1958-1960 Corvette 7lb Radiator Cap.
These new reproduction parts look and operate like anything but restoration parts. It’s essentially impossible to tell them apart from the original parts. Why? Because all of the details are right. That means that they have the AC logo marking as well as all of the other markings you would expect: “Remove Slowly,” “Turn Tight,” and even “Made in U.S.A Pat. D.” There’s even a “549-7# RC-1” for good measure.
With a 7 pound pressure rating, these can do the job for any 1958, 1959, and 1960 Corvettes equipped with the brass-copper radiator.
Chrome Headlight Bezels: a Bevy of a Good Deal
Here at Corvette Specialties of MD West, we want to give our classic Corvette owners the highest caliber Corvette parts at the best prices possible. As such, our standards are the highest in the industry. That said, from time to time, we come across parts that have minor cosmetic blemishes that do not, in any way, affect performance. As such, we offer these parts at significant discounts.
The only blemishes with these parts are cosmetic – that means they’re on the outside. They don’t affect how it operates, how it enables your Corvette to perform. Oh no. They still meet our highest standards for operation. Indeed, we would never offer them otherwise. A great example of this are the 1958-1960 Corvette Chrome Headlight Bezels.
Who are these parts for? Essentially, they’re for Corvette owners who want a Corvette that performs in a “show quality” manner but they don’t plan on using it in a show. If you aren’t demanding “show quality,” so to speak, cosmetically, from every item, then these parts are a great way to save money while still getting the most out of your Corvette.
Indeed, these parts would have been (and, in many cases, have been) acceptable as “OEM Quality” at the time when your Corvette was new, when it was fresh out of the factory. If you want a significant discount on a part that may be able to significantly impact your Corvette for the better, we’ve got you covered.
Hard to Find NOS Corvette Parts and Accessories
As Corvette owners ourselves, we know how challenging it can be to find the classic Corvette parts for your Corvette. That’s just one of the reasons we take pride in offering hard to find new old stock parts that are in limited supply – it’s one more way we can make it easier to make your Corvette what you want it to be.
As of this writing, we’re offering a 1957-1962 Corvette NOS Rear Axle Bearing. It fits Corvettes from those years, yes, but it also fits 1957-1964 Chevrolet Passenger Cars, too.
The above constitute just a fraction of the C1 Corvette parts that we currently offer. There are plenty of other restoration, reproduction, and NOS parts available. Of course, there are also plenty of restoration, reproduction, and NOS parts available for C2 and C3 Corvettes, too. To see everything that we have to offer, check out our site or give us a call during office hours.
