Do you want your C3 Corvette to stand out from the rest? Do you want your C3 Corvette to stand out from the rest because it looks better than all of the rest? There are plenty of used, generic C3 Corvette parts. That’s not what we offer. Here at Corvette Specialties of MD West, we offer NOS, reproduction, and restoration parts for your C3 Corvette that will make it look and run as well as it ever did.
We’re constantly getting new parts in, finding parts that we can offer. Below, we’ve laid out just a few of them. There are many, many others available.
Specific C3 Corvette Parts for Specific Needs
By offering as many classic Corvette parts as possible, we can provide parts for as many Corvette owners as possible. That means offering the parts that many Corvette owners need, yes, but it also means offering those parts that only some Corvette owners will need.
A great example of this: currently, we’re offering a 1978 Corvette Pace Car LH side front fender lower stripe. If you have a 1978 Corvette pace car, this could be everything you’ve been searching for.
This stripe is not only an original GM NOS part, it’s still in the original GM box. This part is as “new” as it gets for something that’s over 44 years old. Indeed, when you look at it, it’s understandable if you find it hard to believe that this part was more than four decades old. After all, it has no creases, nor is it peeling anywhere. In fact, it has no visible damage of any kind.
A couple things to keep in mind about this part: yes, it is just for 1978 Corvette pace cars. And, while it may be appealing to try and install this yourself, you shouldn’t. We do recommend professional installation for this particular part.
Cool Parts to Help With Engine Cooling
Recently, we uncovered many never-installed NOS parts. Another fine example: the 1973-1979 Corvette NOS Front Spoiler/Extension/Air Deflector we offer.
As you may know, this part bolts under the nose to deflect air through the grill. That way, it can contribute to engine cooling, helping your engine to run as well as it should. This single-piece, molded black plastic spoiler is a good fit for Corvettes from the years of 1973-1979.
As a real NOS part, this is just as it was in the seventies. As such, there are no cracks or anything of that nature. This is truly in excellent nature.
Keep in mind: this part does have some minor shelf wear. You can see it for yourself in the pictures on our site. We believe that the more information a Corvette owner has about a part, the better a decision they’re able to make for themselves and their Corvettes.
“Lurking In Our Warehouse for Years”
That’s the phrase we used on our site to describe our 1968 Corvette Used L/H Convertible Pin Striker for your windshield.
This is a used part, yes, but it is a used part that is in excellent condition. Indeed, it was used briefly some time ago – it was used in early production of 1968 Corvette convertibles. In fact, it was used and discontinued that year, ending in August of 1968.
This part is only for 1968 convertible Corvettes. Remember: in that year, there were plenty of both late and early production parts. Revisions were constant throughout that production year. So, before reaching out to us about this part, check your manual/take other actions to make sure this part is right for your needs.
Performance NOS Parts
Just about all of our NOS parts are high performing, some of them just have it in the title – such as the 1963-1985 GM Performance NOS Clutch Flywheel we’re currently offering. Never installed and still in the box, it fits big or small block.
While you can’t use it for external balance engines, you can use it for Corvettes made between 1963 and 1985. In fact, you can actually use this on Corvettes from 62 and earlier if you use a 10.4 inch pressure plate.
C1 and C2 Parts, Too
C3 Corvettes continued the proud lineage that had been established with C1 Corvettes and built on with C2 Corvettes. We offer top quality parts for those Corvettes as well.
We went into detail about some of our NOS parts in this blog, but don’t forget that we have plenty of reproduction parts, too. Those are often made from the original blueprints, so that they fit your Corvette in the right way.
